A waitress was a given $78 on a $22 bill from diner who had suffered a bereavement. The remaining $56 was gifted by the grieving customer whose friend passed away the night before, for her spend it on someone she loves.
The waitress identified as Ms Nielsen shared it via Facebook page, saying: 'A young woman left this tip for me today and I've been on the verge of tears ever since. Her friend must have been a lovely person to inspire generosity in the wake of tragedy. Go hug your friends, everyone.
She also passed on a message to the generous tipper: 'Just thank you, and I hope it gets better from here on out.'
